one pen, ink, drawing and maybe a lipstick at a time

Hello Pens

Hello Pens

Oooo you’ve found me and here it begins.  My thoughts about a multitude of things will be laid out here…Pens!  Ink!  Makeup!  Drawing!  The Furry Son!  Reviews!  Whatever enters my noggin will most likely end up here.  It’s unusual for me to live out loud, so I need to acknowledge and thank my friends out there who have been encouraging me to take this on for quite some time—it will be fun.  I’ll be tweaking the site as things progress.  Hope you enjoy the journey with me.

  • A new blog to read! I have enjoyed your recent appearances on “Currently Inked.” I love Franklin-Christoph pens, too! I miss Seattle so much. My husband and I lived there for years, now we live in South Dakota where fountain pens are rare. (I have one tiny suggestion: a larger font size would be wonderful for this comment section. It’s so very tiny on my iPad.)

Thank you for being brave enough to “live out loud.” May your blog be popular and may all commenters be positive!

    • Hi–so glad to read your comment and very cool that you used to live here! Suggestion noted, now I just need to find where to make the font size change 🙂 thank you!

    • My brother is into fountain pens and lives in SD, though distances are so great between cities that unless you happen to also be in Rapid City, there wouldn’t be any point in thinking “pen club” 😀

But more importantly, welcome to blogging, Murberdraws! I have added you to my list of blogs to check regularly. 🙂

    • First, so very excited for the new blog! Your IG feed is one of the highlights of my day and has inspired me to be on the list for two Franklin Christoph pens. I’m anxiously awaiting my Ghost 45 in the next week or so and the Antique Glass Model 02 later this summer.

Second, I wanted to reply to Sandra’s post because it was such a small world to learn of another fountain pen fan in South Dakota! You mean it’s not just me?! Yay!

Looking forward to future blog posts – going to watch your YouTube appearance now!

      • Awww thank you very much! I’m glad you were able to get on the list for the Ghost 45–the 45 if one of my all time fav pens for many reasons!

  • Great news about your new blog! Love your Instagram posts – just moved down from Seattle to Portland a couple years ago. It’s fun to see posts about pens and things in Seattle. Thanks for all the great posts!

    • Thanks so much! PDX will always be my 2nd home–I really love the city and hope to visit it again soon 🙂

  • Hi Tania!!!!
Congratulations and looking forward to this blog growing and also seeing how it gets bigger and better… did I get the name correct??? The recent video with Matt (@penhabbit) … was supper … was hoping to see all the FC haul… may be we’ll get a look in here… brilliant!

    • Haiiiiii!! Ahhhh you watched the video hehehe, Matt is great fun and it’s crazy that he wanted me to join him again. I still get nervous to record, but it was a lot of fun :). I’m sure you’ll be seeing my F-Cs here on the blog…stay tuned! I really appreciate you stopping by 😀

  • Congrats! Saw both episodes of Currently Inked and your F-C collection is impressive. Looking forward to your blog.

  • Yay! Congratulations 😊 I’ve been enjoying your IG posts and am happy to see that you now have a larger platform to express yourself. Look forward to your musings and guest appearances by the Furry Son 💕 =^.^=

  • Congratulations on taking the big jump! The site is off to a great start….the Instagram link at the bottom is cool. Love the story about your Dad’s P75. I wish I owned a fountain pen that my parents or grandparents used.

  • I think this is just fantastic, Tania! What an adventure, and we get to tag along. Looking forward to the journey my friend! And Go Ducks! 💚💛
